According to Football League World, Everton are interested in signing Hull City star Jarrod Bowen, whilst Southampton are also keeping an eye on the attacker.
What’s the word, then?
Well, the 22-year-old really kicked on from his breakthrough 2017/18 campaign with an even better season in 2018/19.
Bowen hit 22 goals for the Tigers and also grabbed four assists, proving to be instrumental for Hull as they recorded a solid mid-table finish in 13th place – they finished only 12 points off a place in the play-offs after an impressive run of form late on in the campaign.
The exclusive report reveals that the Englishman will ‘definitely’ get a move away from the KCOM Stadium this summer, and that Hull have already rejected a big offer from an unnamed Premier League side.

The former Hereford United forward is seemingly going from strength to strength every season, following up a 14-goal haul in 2017/18 with his aforementioned tally of 22 last term.
Marcel Brand’s vision continues to grow
Back in April, Everton Sporting Director outlined the Toffees’ ambitions to bring younger players to Goodison Park.
The former PSV Eindhoven director said: “The players we brought in last year were all under 25 so we don’t want to invest big money in players who are older.
“Everton is a club that also has to sell players so it is necessary to get younger players to invest in. That’s why we invested in young players last summer. [Lucas] Digne was 24, [Yerry] Mina 23, Richarlison 21; so we look to players in the age group 20-25/26.”

As Brands name-drops the trio, the arrivals of Digne, Mina and Richarlison have given the Merseysiders a youthful looking spine to the team, and one that blends well with the more experienced figures in the team such as Idrissa Gueye and Seamus Coleman.
Brands’ vision for the club is clearly to fill the side with some excellent young players, and watch them grow into top performers who will hold their value or even see it grow, helping the club to keep a good hold on their assets over the years.
Last summer was a success in that regard having brought in the aforementioned trio, and the Dutchman’s vision will only continue to grow if Bowen also joins the club.
