Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has revealed his shock that his effort against Manchester United went in as his side won 3-2 on Saturday.

Forest won 3-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday, and Gibbs-White's strike just after half-time proved pivotal to their victory. Collecting the ball from range, the attacking midfielder took aim and his finish seemingly wrong-footed Onana, and nestled in the bottom corner.

Gibbs-White's strike made it 2-1, before Chris Wood scored Forest's third. United did pull a goal back through Bruno Fernandes, but they were unable to rescue a point, with Lisandro Martinez's late overhead kick zipping just over the bar in injury time.
WHAT GIBBS-WHITE SAID
Gibbs-White told : "I didn't [think it was going in] at all, to be fair. I don't want to discredit Onana, he's an incredible goalkeeper, but when I had the shot, I thought he was going to pick it up."
