There are no two ways about it, Harry Kane is already on his way to becoming a Tottenham Hotspur legend – if he isn’t already.
After all, the now 26-year-old English striker has bagged a total of 177 goals and 29 assists in just 270 games played for Spurs and he seems like he’s nowhere near done just yet.
But there exists a contingent of “haters” who are trying to find faults in his game, and they are the ones who have accused him of only banging in goals against sub-standard opposition, or at least that’s what many Spurs fans are expecting everyone to say these days.

Following his most recent goal against Olympiacos, Gary Lineker tweeted about Kane becoming the quickest player ever to score their first 20 Champions League goals, doing so in just 24 games and beating Del Piero’s record in the process.
Upon seeing this tweet, many Spurs fans were all making the same sarcastic joke, calling out their star for scoring most of those goals against smaller sides.
It seems that this narrative is slowly becoming an amusing theme in north London
