Shortly after the youngster scored the opener, USMNT star Weston McKennie doubled the lead for the Serie A giants.

With the strike against the Dutch giants, Yildiz became the youngest Juventus player to score a Champions League goal at the age of 19 years and 136 days. In the process, he broke Bianconeri and Italy legend Alessandro Del Piero's record, who scored his maiden goal in the competition at the age of 20 years and 308 days in 1995.
